Children ages 3-5 participate in hands-on activities where they learn and practice the actions of a real naturalist.

Today's theme – Bay Area Birds: Learn about some of the birds you might spot in San Francisco. Examine real bird specimens, create a nature journal, and decorate a pair of bird-watching binoculars to take home.

This program is free with Academy admission. Supervision is required. Space is limited to the first 20 participants. Sign up at the Naturalist Center as early as 9:30am on the morning of the program to hold your spot.

Summary: 
Children ages 3-5 participate in hands-on activities where they learn and practice the actions of a real naturalist. Space is limited to the first 20 participants (children ages 3-5) and begins promptly at 9:45am in the Naturalist Center.
