Explore the plants and animals of nature’s gardens through hands-on investigation and activities.

Today's theme - The Scoop on Soil: Mother Nature composts, and so can you! Learn how to make a rich soil for your garden using air, water, and organic matter.  Look at compost critters and listen to the story Compost Stew by Mary McKenna Siddals.

This program is free with Academy admission. Supervision is required. Space is limited to the first 20 participants. Sign up at the Naturalist Center as early as 9:30am on the morning of the program to hold your spot.

Summary: 
Explore the plants and animals of nature’s gardens through hands-on investigation and activities. Space is limited to the first 20 participants (children ages 3-5) and begins promptly at 10:00am in the Naturalist Center.
