Long Description: 

A hands-on program for our youngest learners, children ages 1-3. Learn about a different animal each month during fun, group activities. Participants meet at the entrance to the Early Explorers Cove. Caregiver participation required.

Today's theme - Coral Reef Trek: Take a pretend dive through the coral reef. Examine real coral specimens, read Over in the Ocean in a Coral Reef by Marianne Berkes, and trek through the aquarium to the Philippine Coral Reef Gallery.

Reservations:  Space is limited; reservations required. $4 per member child; $6 per non-member child; free to attending adults with general admission. Museum general admission is free for children 3 and under. To reserve a place today, buy a ticket online or over the phone at 800-794-7576. Please note that both programs each month are identical, so participants should register for only one date per month.

Summary: 
A caregiver/child participatory program designed especially for children ages 1-3. Learn about a different animal each month as we read stories, play games, make a take-home craft, and trek through the Academy to find animals. Reservations required.
