Youth programs
The Academy provides a variety of out-of-school-time programs for middle and high school-aged youth, with applications opening seasonally.
#TeenScienceNight is an annual youth-created, youth-led evening of science learning and engagement with museums, science centers, zoos, and aquariums from across the SF Bay Area. Exclusively for youth, #TeenScienceNight highlights science in a fun, free-flowing event with music, prizes, activities, and dancing. The California Academy of Sciences is proud to host the event each year on the last Friday before the school year begins.
