Activity #1

Think about an animal that you have seen move (cat/dog/fish/penguin), then use your blank paper to create a comic strip showing how that animal uses their body parts to move from one place to another.

You'll need a piece of paper and a pencil!

Penguin Mystery #2

Penguins eat their fish whole! How are they able to do that? Let's look closely at what is going on inside their beaks that helps them hold onto and eat their fishy snacks.

Activity #2

Using the comic strip we made in Activity #1, we are going to add more information. Flip your paper over, or add more boxes—then begin to imagine and draw what body parts your animal uses to find and eat its food. Add words and thought bubbles!

Optional: add color to your comic strip!

You'll need your comic strip from Activity #1 and a pencil. Color pencils or crayons are optional!
