Now, search our lesson plan database by keyword!

Our lesson plan database is now searchable by keyword! What are you teaching in science class this month?

New and Improved Search Bar

At long last, our database of more than 100 Academy-created activities is now searchable by keyword. In addition to browsing through the collections sorted by grade or discipline (e.g., life sciences or earth sciences), you can now search by words such as "animal," "ecosystem," or "carbon."  A list of lessons will pop up in a Google-result-like page!

What's more? You can also plug in scientific practices such as "planning investigations" or "interpreting data" to draw up activities that focus on these skills.

Here are the number of activities that pop up when you search by...

• "carbon" = approximately 20 results
• "argument" = approximately 30 results (as in, arguing from evidence, not a fight!)
• "habitat" = approximately 70 results
