End summer with science: Immerse yourself in the natural world at the California Academy of Sciences’ annual Teen Science Night, a teen takeover night at the museum. Youth (ages 13-18) are invited to come explore the world of science at this free, fun-filled event.
About Teen Science Night
Teen Science Night is the nation's largest teen-only museum event. Each year, the California Academy of Sciences welcomes 2,000 teens into the museum to learn about science and nature. Attendees have the chance to freely explore the exhibits and engage with over a dozen local teen organizations about science, technology, art, and music.
Teen Science Night is a free-choice learning event without scheduled programs. Teens who visit can choose what to learn about and when. Every Teen Science Night features a local teen DJ and interactive programs designed by youth leaders from across the Bay Area. The evening wraps up with a dance party and raffle.
- Only teens (ages 13-18) are admitted to Teen Science Night. Parents and other adults are not permitted (with the exception of chaperones and teachers from partnering organizations).
- The event is free and tickets must be reserved in advance.
- Guests and bags are subject to inspection.
